What is Natural Weight Loss ?

Today millions of people of all age group across the globe facing this health hazard of Obesity. Obesity makes life lazy and sedentary. Body becomes weak it decreases the possibilities of longer life span. Common ailment the bones of buttocks, knees and spinal column becoming brittle. The muscles of the stomach are ordinarily helpful to the glands secreting internally But because of the fat collecting on the belly, hernia is caused. Overweight people have an increased risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, and other illnesses. Losing weight reduces the risk.

Natural weight loss thus relies on using folk and other “traditional” means of taking care of the body and certain daily routines which encourage weight loss. • Controlling eating habits.
• Regular exercise.
• Yoga is a gentle way to bring a balanced attitude to all aspects of life. Yoga can help you control your weight more effectively, whether you need to lose weight or to gain it. Many a times the glands are sluggish in our body.
• These sluggish glands are stimulated by yoga asana to increase their hormonal secretions. Especially the thyroid gland pays important role in our weight because it affects body metabolism.

Yoga Treatment for Obesity: Initially do not try to do too many asana, proceed gradually and regularly.

First week:
• Shitali and Shitkari Pranayama
• Ekpada Uttan Asanas
• Utthan Pada Asana
• Rest in Shava Asana.

Second week:
• Salabha Asana
• Continue with first week asana and
• Bhujanga Asana
• Rest in Shava Asana.

Third week:
• Pavanamukta Asana
• Continue with second week asana and
• Santulan Asana

Fourth week:
• Continue with third week asana and
• Dhanura Asana
• Paschimothan Asana

Fifth week:
• Continue with fourth week asana and
• Supta-Vajra Asana
• Surya Namaskara
• Ardha Matsyendrasana

Beside the above mentioned asana and pranayama practice of yoga nidra, concentration and meditation gives the best result.
